Speaking of the best I was fortunate to see the Impala Diamond show a few weeks ago and
man what a band and what a voice.
The whole performance was genuine free flowing easy listening and very entertaining with no pretence or ego what so ever what you saw is what you got Anthony Impala is a natural entertainer, Impala off stage is same Impala on stage and that's what made it even more special. He put the music and the audience first an himself second. Anthony renditions of the songs were true to the core ..One of the guest on our table commented "if you close your eyes you would think that Neil Diamond was in the room in fact I think Anthony even looks like Diamond in his later years, no offence intended. The band was awesome everybody played their part laying down the perfect back drop for Anthony and the music to shine..
As a music lover myself the standout for me was the drummer John ferraro.
He played his ass off, great solid groves beautiful dynamic shifts, leeding the band through the various colors with in the music, while still providing a solid foundation for the band to lock on to.
Thank you Sam Gervasi and Anthony Impala for a great night. Furthermore Thanks for providing a platform for live music.
This show has the ear marking for bigger venues and larger audiences .Lets all get on board the impala/Diamond journey and make it happen.
Lets make it happen, bring back real people and real music made by real people..Furthermore, talk about value fro money 11 piece band state of the art sound system, amazing light show and a three course dinner, all that for $65 per ticket. Shut up and take my money? looking forward to the next show. . . ..

A smooth, well co-ordinated, balanced performance, with passion and reverence to the original. The characteristic tone and nuances were accurately portrayed in this tribute show - a credit to the diligence and attention to detail from Anthony and also the other musicians and singers involved in this energetic, enthusiastic portrayal .
The sound was of high standard with emphasis on strong clear tones with volume levels under control .
An exciting night on many levels , great atmosphere , many inspiring moments - dedication to the craft ! R. Smith (in the past - a musical examiner :)

I just wanted to congratulate you on a spectacular performance. You sounded so authentic as a singer and captured the essence of Neil Diamond.
You thoroughly entertained us with your natural style and drew us all into the character as you sang. Also the band was tight with a big sound.....mixed perfectly by Macca.
This show deserves to be at the Crown Casino.

On Saturday night 16th February I attended the Anthony Impala – “Neil Diamond Tribute” show at Ferraro Receptions.
AND wow what a fantastic night it was.
Anthony Impala is a born entertainer with a spectacular voice. I was convinced I was listening to the real deal.
Backed up by an 11 piece orchestra and singers – it was an evening of pure showbiz showcasing the brilliant songs of Neil Diamond.
Anthony and the band created an electric buzz and atmosphere - it was one of the best nights I have had in ages.
It was a fabulous evening of entertainment, food and dancing - absolutely the perfect way to kick up your heals and dance to songs that we know and love.
I thoroughly enjoyed myself and I can’t wait to see Anthony live again. I would definitely encourage you to go along and see this impressive show.
